@mclaincausey If you go back to the original post where I tagged you they said it started out as Mezcal 20 years ago. Sounds like they forgot about it,decided to bottle it. I probably should’ve been a little bit more skeptical…Only 59 bottles,but 20% off on a pre-sale. If it was all that good it should’ve been a lot more money. There was another one in the lot that was about 120 proof and a bit more money so I went for this one. Stay tuned.

@mclaincausey The Wild Common was/is just absolutely delicious. Wonderful agave flavor,great nose and mouthfeel. It was on sale for $45 a bottle. Glad I bought two of them. I’ve liked everything I’ve ever gotten from NOM1123,and this is no exception.

Me being a Mark Normand and Sam Morril fan, two stand-up comedians with a drinking podcast “We Might Be Drunk”. I had to give their whiskey a try at some point. It’s of course very drinkable

@Danimal506 Also a big Sam Morril fan. Glad to hear that his whiskey is good. Where did you find it? Also highly recommend Gary Vider who always opens for him and I’m pretty sure Sam had a hand in producing his most recent special.

@Jett129 I live in Austin, Texas so I was able to get it at Spec’s, a local chain similar to BevMo if you know what that is.
Yea it’s very good! Similar to a Bulleit Rye. I have not watched either of their newest specials but I need to.

Just got our kiddo to bed. Time to relax. Nothing fancy, but boy does this stuff go down smooth! Especially with some Texas sweet tea
