Little walk around Alderney this afternoon.

The rough water beyond the breakwater in this image is "The Swinge", a tidal race we have to negotiate on the way to Guernsey tomorrow. Luckily the winds are benign and the tides are not too large....SAKURA is in the middle of the pic....

Left Alderney, where we had a fabulous couple of days. The people were truly wonderful. Paula lost her phone yesterday, since we left, Alderney Coastguard have called us on Channel 16 to say it had been found, and one of the guys we were on the water taxi last night has just phoned me to say he had heard that it had been found, he got my phone number by contacting The coast Guards office. The Coast Guards will give the phone to the Alderney/Guernsey ferry captain who will bring it to Guernsey for us. I want to move to Alderney

And we have arrived at Beaucette Marina on the north coast of Guernsey. The approach was a tad challenging, but boy is it worth it......

We’ll be gone before any storms. Will leave for France Mon or Tues…..
