@Inorganic glad you’re finding it helpful. The old version of the Pale Rider and BareBack leather are not in this experiment.

These are the new natural leathers that Simmons Bilt was trying as a replacement for the QC issues they were having with the old version leather. Only the blattwerk in the experiment has been used in the current sample that Denim Dawg is wearing.

At this point, should these leather samples age any further naturally? It would be interesting to apply some oil and continue the experiment.

@pechelman right? That’s probably a good next step. The other variable to consider is that they are not getting any rubbing or contact from other sources like clothing, furniture, bags, etc.
