@FlavourFade @Brian thanks dudes!! By far my longest session. But then I’d say he was on the slow side. I did my whole chest when I was in Costa Rica. Only took 5 hours.

In the easy chair with my boots on, melted whiskey in my hand. Could'na been asleep for more than three hours...time to go to work again...

i'm continually amazed at how doener kebab isnt a big thing or even a thing in the US

Definitely agree with Germany for all sorts of kebab (doener pizza anyone??) but have also had some great ones in Vienna. Even a pretty decent one in Tokyo.

That looks fuckin’ awesome! I like the colours and how it wraps around your arm. That was a long time to sit in the chair but was definitely worth it. When I got my dragon and frog done in Hanoi in January, it took about 9 hours with a lunch break. I love the chaos of the Old Quarter and wandering the streets, drinking coffee and eating amazing food. It looks like you and the missus have had a wonderful trip with many memories to last for years to come!

@T4920 the egg coffee is also top notch! BDS is in the Snienton Market just around the corner from Neon Raptor. The cakes with homemade marshmallow were also tempting, but I was stuffed!

@IH-GARY love an egg coffee! Neon Raptor is always my first stop in Nottingham, grandparents used to live in Snienton so always used to pass through the market.

Also love Black Iris brewery just outside the city and Junkyard Bar for drinks around town 👌

My favourite in Leicestershire (where I live) is Round Corner, they focus on more traditional styles, but they're always top quality!

@bryaneidins70 I have merged your topic here as there was a very good Vietnam thread created previously but located in the general discussion (which has now been moved to the guide area). It might act as inspiration for your trip and allow others who have travelled here previously to add their own insights.

@Fadez moved your topic to rest of Asia.

@bryaneidins70 if time is on your side, Sapa north of Hanoi is an absolute amazing place to spend a few days. The hospitality of the Hmong people that host guests in their own hand built homes is one of my favourite experiences every whilst travelling!

Also, Phong Nha is a great stop on the way down south from Hanoi for its caves and natural water parks. It was also my favourite spot for riding as the roads are so wide and empty with the most beautiful rolling green scenery.
