I finished up making this belt today- my second attempt. I put a little swatch of SBG denim from a past hemming on the end just for fun and to see how it fades. In retrospect I wish I would’ve done a different shape or placement, but I know I’ll make another one soon enough so I don’t put A TON of thought into placement or design (still just practicing and not nearly to where I want to be with it)

It was really tough to follow my guidelines putting in the studs around the denim because the denim is so dark but I’m happy with how the rest of it turned out. Would be a lot easier with some sort of machine but for now it’s a labor of love and done by hand.

Thanks for the kind words and couldn’t recommend it enough! Made a wallet last year and belts this year, both super rewarding. Next up I want to do a guitar strap.

The wife and I went to the Gennese Brewery lyesterday had a great time. They egave us a nice tour of there pilot brewery.

@goosehd We live a couple hours south of Rochester. So we made it a nice day trip. It was definitely worth the drive there is a resturant on the second floor that was great too.
