@goosehd tbf climate change has given us the short term benefit of a slightly more temperate climate. Far more sun and warmer temps. Still get the rain we used to, just more concentrated. And of course the world continues to spin so the sun still does its double edged disappearing trick.

It’s her 5th year playing and she’s being coached/trained by a former Women’s PGA pro and owner of the golf course that we play at.They have a fantastic kid’s program that she oversee’s/coaches and all of the kids are doing pretty damn well considering their ages. A few of them are unbelievably good and a joy to watch in various skills competitions.

I finished up making this belt today- my second attempt. I put a little swatch of SBG denim from a past hemming on the end just for fun and to see how it fades. In retrospect I wish I would’ve done a different shape or placement, but I know I’ll make another one soon enough so I don’t put A TON of thought into placement or design (still just practicing and not nearly to where I want to be with it)
It was really tough to follow my guidelines putting in the studs around the denim because the denim is so dark but I’m happy with how the rest of it turned out. Would be a lot easier with some sort of machine but for now it’s a labor of love and done by hand.

Thanks for the kind words and couldn’t recommend it enough! Made a wallet last year and belts this year, both super rewarding. Next up I want to do a guitar strap.
