@gakugeidg Rodenstock offer the Colormatic 3Sun lenses in transitions that got from about 50% opacity to 90% in bright light.

I was looking at getting a pair of the Papa Nui Coral Cruisers with these lenses fitted, but my prescription would be tricky in the frame.

Every 4 months or so I like to take these silver wipes from Amazon to the accents on my glasses, it’s pretty crazy how much shinier it is after giving them a wipe down and polish. In both pics I only polished the right side so you can see the difference.

Finally took the plunge... Was recently gifted a pair. I went to the Venice showroom to pick them out and had seriously one of my favorite shopping experiences ever. Was there for around an hour, tried on most of the frames, and got blasted on complimentary espresso. Had a blast with my wife and the woman who was helping us out there. After narrowing down to a few frames we landed on the Taos Hopper. It was a good blend of the best fit for my face, and a large frame which is what I was looking for. So absolutely stoked on them. Lost the awesome leather case maybe three days after getting them.... Surely better than losing the glasses.

Or Stahler

@scarfmace I think the Stahler suits you slightly better. It is has a slightly rounder bottom curve to the frame and the frame itself looks a bit thinner and subtle than the Vendome. Both suit you very well. the Vendome is a more "in your face" option and the Stahler more subtle.

Don’t think you can go wrong either way, they both look great. I like the details and shape of the Vendome a bit more personally.

First instinct on fit is the stahler. But if you’re going JMM, I say go as chunky as possible—therefore vendome wins the day!

@scarfmace I like the Stahler better. The top of the frame sits nicely along your brows, but the main reason is that the detailing on the arms is more interesting than the Vendome.

That said, both styles work well on you.
