Is it me or does it look like the bib is cut a bit low? They seem like fashion overalls versus work overalls with that lower bib. To be honest, they probably be purchased for fashion wear.

I would say that one of the main factors, being designed and made in Japan, the average height for a Japanese person is 3" shorter than a person from the west rather than a work / fashion decision.

I agree with your answer. They certainly fit your wife more appropriately for overalls. Mens patterns make need a few adjustments to the patterns if these move forward. The material is certainly next level!
