@motojobobo it was my bike, not my brother's. He borrowed it once when his Guzzi broke down. (A semi-regular occurrence.)

My R1200R was the first year of production, and I never had any problems with it. It was comfortable to ride and I still miss it.

Oh boy.. every time I see HD pictures from somewhere dry and sunny in the US and I want to go out and get one as a extended midlife crisis project
Then I remember I live in Denmark with crap weather for 8 months, 180% taxation on anything with a combustion engine and not even enough time to ride my bicycles.
