These are so good. Wore them last year and now I’m thinking of grabbing another pair.

Possibly a dumb question, but what does the “c” stand for? Aren’t these the same as the previous release?

Just got a pair of these and I love the inky blackness. I’m only about 5 wears in at this point. I’ve seen the fades that others have posted, and had a question. Since these have indigo warp and black sulphur dipped weft, what causes them to fade so dramatically? Does the black just fade out quickly by comparison or is there something else at work?

The dramatic effect you are referring is from the high contrast from the black weft. You don't see white picking though and as the blue warp fades and then weft remains dark.

When an indigo rope dyed warp fades, it is the oxidised indigo being abraded off the outside of the yarn, thus exposing the white core. In this case, having a dark weft, increases the overall contrast

I've been dying for a pair of 21 oz IB but it doesn't seem like those are making a return. I've been eyeing these, but I've never owned a pair of 14 oz jeans. Can anyone speak on how they feel?

@danieljones33, personally I think they're great. Regarding the 142ib-c, I think they are light, yet stiff. I'm guessing with the dying of both warp and weft along with a tighter weave, it may add to the rigidity. It wears well in the hot weather here for certain. My 21oz 666 feels softer against the legs.
