I have wondered this too...the only thing I can think of is to loosen the strap and put it on over both arms (like an inflated pool ring sorta) and then tighten it up when it is around your waist. But this would have to happen in reverse to take it off. IDK. Maybe I'll try with my 45 when I get home if I can remember.

@Heavy_blue not my intention! I will continue to use and love both bags, but I feel like that meme template perfectly encapsulates the feeling of getting a shiny new toy/crispy new denim bag.

@Mizmazzle it works like a ring belt. You just undo the strap at one end and re-bind it through two D rings. The friction holds it securely. It is also easy to tighten and loosen.
