We never stocked them - type i and type iis have done historically very poorly for us, so we opted not to take this model, hence no thread or product page. @Giles just got one for himself

@Alex well thank you for making the new T1 and T2 despite them not selling well historically. I am curious if this changes this time around. I am not sure if they are becoming more popular or if I am just in my own world and notice them more as I anticipate their arrival in IHUK.

The shift happened somewhere after the IHJ-51 and before we started to remake T1 and T2s for the west

While I love the side pockets on the IH Type III models, IMO the Type II ones wouldn't look as nice with them. Fashion over function kind of thing for me.

I'm also looking forward to them, before I was more inclined towards the type 1 in 19oz i/g but given the contrasting stitching and that it still has the back strap now I think I'll take the type 2 i/b... or how I fear it will end I'll take both there

This is similar to the age old to-cinch-or-not-to-cinch debate, where 50% of people say they will buy xx jacket with a cinch, 50% of people say they would only buy xx jacket without the cinch, and 75% of both parties don't buy the jacket after all

Another post wash day picture, here with double 18oz Vintage!

After two prior washes, I didn't feel a pre-soak was necessary, but an unfortunate crease fade has developed on the back of the CPO...

Not overly bothered though. At this stage in my denim journey, I'll just surrender to the chaos of this wonderful fabric

@Oaktavia weekly washes when wearing regularly!

Lost count, but probably about around 18 now over 5/6 months of daily wear..

The goal was to differentiate them from other jeans in my collection, great success i'd say

@T4920 For sure man it is working out too. I am doing something similar with a pair of XHSib, ones that I got paint on. I have been throwing them in the washer with each load of dirty clothes. Been probably 7-8 washes over the past several months too. Definitely noticing an overall lightening up all around, with crease fades all over the dang place.

@Oaktavia I need to get some XHS, got a link on the forum who offered a pair of 634 at a great price, but don't like to have fresh jeans tempting me when I'm working on others...

If he still has them after six months in my OD 18oz I'll pick 'em up for winter!

Definitely gonna grab the XHS waist bag that was posted by Haraki San recently though, as much as wanna keep fucking up my Hickory one, I think the quilted panelling will lead some amazingly unique fades
