Any RSD fans out there? I’ve never followed it too much. But just found a cool little record store around the corner from my house. Owner kid was all stoked they got RSD vendor approved. Thought I’d pop over there and take a peek. I see a couple Cannon Ball sets that look rad. Poppin and Burnin…

Got an eye out for the Yusuf Lateef album. It can be a bloodbath in Denver to get some of the releases at least at places like Angelo’s.

@Mizmazzle for me the crowds sort of defeat one of the main draws of going into a record store in the first place....being able to unwind and de-stress

@GraemeE we listened to this album driving from Bryce Canyon to Navajo Nation starting from the stroke of midnight. Few cars during that trip, just our company, the music, the stars, and the blanketing darkness. I’ve heard it prior but my friends were floored. “I felt like I left my body”

@GraemeE this is exactly how I feel. Being at a show is about the only time I can tolerate a crowded space.

However, this new little shop I found was so close to my house, so small and such a random hole in the wall…figured I might as well pop in and see what’s what.

@GraemeE yeah my wife’s friend was dating the owner of Mississippi records at the time and he gave it to me for a bday present (along with liquid swords lp….!!!). Eric has brought some great music back to life

Definitely ‘Spirit of Eden’ is my favorite out of the five.
Love the cover designs James Marsh did for Talk Talk.
But even in all his denim, Mark Hollis was and is a stranger……..perhaps I like this fact most about him.
