I just picked one of these amazing jackets up … wondering if there will be any bleeding from the black OD to shirts? If so, is there anything I should do to avoid the transfer?

You should expect a bit, but nothing too crazy. Hard to avoid without wear and washing

Just got this from Ironshop Provisions on sale clearance. Overlooked last yr. It’s a simple design but the weave got me interested, plus its sulfur overdyed - a bonus for aging. I have too many type 1,2,3,4,5 and 6 denims . Also like the short body length.

Due to COVID, I haven’t had a much of a chance to wear this jacket since I got it last week (other than in the house). I love the cut of this jacket and the fact it has a double zipper rather than buttons or snaps. I’ll be using this primarily as my work jacket and look forward to watching how it evolves over the seasons. It’s hard to photograph now as it’s such a deep black when new.

@Alex I wonder why. I loved the pattern. The denim was beautiful, and its overdyed. When I saw it in the outlet I was surprised. I hope it doesn't discourage future type 2/type 2 variants from being produced. I think it's a near perfect pattern.

@Denman-John really does look great and I’m like you…love everything about these jackets. I have the brown and hope they continue to make this cut in all kinds of fabrics

@SKT this is probably the best fitting jacket I’ve ever had! It’s nice and comfortable with just a t-shirt and can layer a waffle thermal and UHF without having movement restrictions. My Wabash chore coat slips over it easily when riding the bike and in cooler temps. The sleeves are the perfect length and the openings are spot on. I really like the 2 way zipper especially when seated. The material weight is ideal for layering either under or over. After wearing it almost daily for the past 4 months, the evolution is coming along nicely with blues starting to pop in the high wear areas. Would highly recommend this to anyone interested!

Had to upload a pic after my second wash. Had for about ten months. Love this SBR OD. Was sad to see it go outlet.
