@J-IV said in Wax Treasure (Vinyl): late 80s/90s BN (I know Empyrian Isles and Speak Like a Child are older, but I got them then.)

@Tago-Mago scrolling through this thread and this album artwork caught my eye, checked it out and this is pretty killer !! You into a lot of metal? Listen to leviathan or lurker of chalice at all? Edit: am referring to The Ruins of Beverast album

@spleef_oner my forum handle is (somewhat deliberately) misleading. My record collection is mainly metal, with some punk sprinkled in and some odds and ends from various genres. I haven’t listened to either band but will check them out. The latest Ruins of Beverast is pretty awesome, too: https://www.ironheart.co.uk/forum//post/576122

@spleef_oner Purely based on album cover art, I just put this on (digitally) and dig it. Thanks for sharing.

@Tago-Mago right on leviathan and lurker are both one man bands , different projects by the same guy Jeff Whitehead. Pretty sure there’s only one lurker album but quite a bit of leviathan material , my fav being : leviathan and lurker are both one man bands , different projects by the same guy Jeff Whitehead. @68degreesorless nice! Glad you dig it. They’re a Zambian band from the 1970s, ahead of their time for sure.

I am not a fan of 180gr LP’s but this two do the show. Really impressed! Searching now for ‘The Secret Psychedelic Mixes’ on vinyl…
