@Heavy_blue I assume you already know about the ih 1600 and merz 2s14 and consider those too heavy. If that's the case, I agree with @T4920 that TFH 9oz are a great "mid to heavy" option. Another in that category, albeit slightly lighter with a more conventional tshirt feel, but still super luxe, is the unique garment 7 oz airy t. Every time that one finishes drying, I seem to wear it within a day or two. It's always either on my body or in the hamper or drying. A good sign, I think.

Also agree with @Mizmazzle that warehouse 4601 slub/shadow is amazing and gets better with time (as horizontal texture materializes). However, these are totally different from the ts discussed above. Almost like comparing slubby denim to 21 oz. Those above are smooth and sleek. This thing is full of texture and lush.

If you're ok with the t not being loopwheeled, the new heavy weight samurai workwear ts with the logo on the pocket are quite nice too and similar weight range as THF 9oz and UG airy 7oz.

@68degreesorless thanks mate! Really appreciate it! I love my Merz 2s14 and the IH tees in 7,5 and 11oz but i’m looking for something lighter. Will definitely try TFH ones those look cool

I love my Utilities. Lighter than the 6.5 oz tee and better fitting. Plus there’s a bundle deal.

Since the weather has started to pick up, what Oz of shirt should I be looking for British summer please?

I have already washed my UHFs and packed up for next winter.
Will the 9 oz be unbearably hot when time comes in June July time?

@oblivion-sila it’s all down to individual tolerances. If you don’t wear UHR past April, then 5-6.5oz sounds about right.

@neph93 Thanks Neph. Yes sounds about right. I think my tolerances are getting lower. Will look into 5-6.5oz. Cheers ☺️

@oblivion-sila last saturday it was around 24 degrees celcius in the Netherlands and the 380 sashiko was do-able. Besides personal tolerance it’s also about how loose/tight the shirt has been woven imo.

@Heavy_blue Is 12-Oz sashiko weaving a bit breathable? If it is good under 24 degree, I may be able to sail through with it till early June ☺️

last year I often wore the 26oz Piger Works and the 293 18oz OD in Italy, where the average temperature was around 40 degrees throughout July and August, many people asked me if I also needed a nice coat for don't get too cold... never mind, I'd probably be more funny in shorts and a tank top 😔

@oblivion-sila so cool! It’s been around 22 and 24 celcius around here and i wore it for the last 3 days and it was nice! When things are a bit colder i wear my 526Lod over it and when it’s warmer then 24(which don’t happen a lot around here) i will wear it open with a merz b or IH tee under it! Leg me know if you like the shirt!

I’m curious, it seems many new items are selling out quicker recently than a couple years ago. I was wondering if you guys a cutting back a bit on production numbers on some of the more recent runs?

In the easy chair with my boots on, melted whiskey in my hand. Could'na been asleep for more than three hours...time to go to work again...
