      Perhaps this is the wrong place to ask this question, but forgive me, I'm new to the IH forums.

      I have tried very, very hard to find an IH fit that works for me.  I am 6'1'', 165lbs.  Very tall and thin, particularly in the legs.  But I have a big butt and wide hips, which seems to throw off denim fits.  The problem I keep having is that the hips and seat of IH jeans are too tight, which causes me lower back pain.  I'm looking for a little help finding the next cut to try, and I think the Shinyaka is the best bet.  I have tried (and subsequently had to sell):
      -IH-555s, tag size 33 (hip discomfort when sitting)
      -IH-777s, tag sizes 33 and 34 (hip discomfort and not enough room in the seat)
      -IH-777-SST, tag size 36 (oddly, fit worse than the 777s 34, although I appreciated the bend in the legs)
      -IH-888s, tag size 33 (too small in the waist).

      I'm trying to translate the constellation of bad fits above to solve this problem, because I'm determined to find a fit that works.  For someone who has a big butt and skinny legs, do you think I should try:

      -IH555-SST in a larger tag size to make sure the waist is bigger than the 33;
      -IH666-SST in a 34 or 36 tag size; or
      -IH888-SST in a 34 or 36 tag size?

      I recognize the IH method of measuring pants that already fit and comparing, but I honestly think that my difficulty lies in the seat and the weight of the fabric.  I'm really just looking for some general guidance here.

      Thanks in advance.

        Out of those 3 fits the 888 will have the most room in the seat. The 555 does have a lower front rise, though, which may help the waist feel less constricting. The shinayaka does have good stretch to it, so you may feel some relief in the hips on any pair. I wouldn’t recommend the 666, as the top block is tighter.

                    I was in disadvantage of not being around IH when they dropped. But I'm rather sure they will make re-appearance. Haraki was mentioned it in his blog a year ago. Considering all the supply chain issues, they seem to be delayed.

                            will only the 555 SST make a return or the other cuts too ?

                            This was an IHJP run, and we got a few pairs of what they made. No plans for anything else at the moment, but there may well be full runs of all cuts in the future if we can work out how to slot it into the production line.

                              I'm 35 inch waist in my 25oz 777 and a 34 in my 14oz. Any recommendations for these 21oz in the 777 cut? Would I stick to the 34 or go up to the 36.

                                  @IRONGARR you'd have to look at the measurements. My 777SST weren't much smaller in the waist than my 777S-21, but noticeably smaller in the rest of the measurements. With the difference, if there wasn't stretch I probably wouldn't be able to move in them, but full mobility with the stretch, though the fit is tight through the legs for me.
