IH-634S-SBG - 21oz Selvedge Denim Straight Cut Jeans - SBG

Looking for some guidance on sizing. I have a pair of 634 Slub in 29 and they fit perfectly. The size chart for the Slub 29s look really close to the 634 SBG in 30. Would it be recommended to go with the 30 in SBG as opposed to sticking with same tag for the Slub?

Personally i would trust the measurements so go with tag 30.

But note that we will remeasure the new batch and may update the chart, so you’re better off waiting until we announce in this thread any updates to sizing

Someone jump in if I’m wrong, but the slub denim will have stretched considerably more in the waist than the SBG will. Reckon I got close to 2 inch of stretch on my slubs. The SBGs definitely stretch and relax, but you have to work a little harder for it.
I’d measure the size 29 slubs now they’ve been worn and go for the SBGs that are measure 1 inch less than that “ideal” end point.

I might grab one of these. Was actually going to go for the 634 S 21, but this seems unique and I have never had a black denim from IH. Nice timing!

Sizing dilemma, need help. My current 634 S 21 pair (Tag size 31) that I have been wearing since starting this year has a waist size of 80 cm as I measured it the IH way. I have never washed this pair yet, just a few soaks. This SBG size chart seems to differ a little bit, the Tag size 32 has a waist of 80.3 cm which is close to the pair that I'm wearing. So given the fact that a soak would shrink the waist by some margin and expand back, I should go with Tag size 32. Correct?
