Thank you! I was very tempted to soak/wash them a few times. I’m a big fan of high contrast fades though, so I decided to hold off as long as I could. I typically soak/rinse my jeans after one solid year of wear.

I was able to soak my jeans over the weekend. I soaked it in cold water to minimize shrinkage. There was some shrinkage all around. Once dried, they were a bit tight and stiff. After about 5-10 minutes of wear, they were comfortable once again.

@caithangkhanh Wowzers those fades are epic. That's one of the best looking pair of jeans I've ever seen. If that doesn't sell people on the IB, idk what would. It's a shame there's no plan for a re-run. I'm glad I got my pair though!

@Oaktavia Nothing wrong with holding out for 2 months- That's hard enough lol. Yours are sick too! I think I'll probably go somewhere in between. I'm trying to make it the whole cold season.

@Oaktavia I hear that - these are my only pair of 888 though, and i don't really see myself wearing my 18oz 777 till it gets hot again. The 888SBG is on my list though if they ever come back in stock I'll have something to rotate. Just rotating shirts right now lol

I hit 50 wears. No wash, going for 100 before doing that. They’re getting that nice shiny lived-in look I like, fades are pretty mild so far. No plans on rotating anything till I get my hands on SBG (or XHS if it’s on the menu). Loving this 21ib, still get psyched to put it on every morning

Thanks! These are my first pair of IH, and I’m really happy with how they’re coming along. I’m currently eyeing a pair of XHS or XHSib. Just waiting on the XHSib to restock. I’d love to participate in one of these competitions, but I’m terrible at keeping track and taking pictures.

Can confirm that this is awesome denim. I actually bought a back up pair. They get nice and soft quickly, and those little creasy electric blues really show in the sun, and pretty quickly. I’m still early, but I’m looking forward to seeing how these fade. Love em.

I have a pair of the 25ib, but I keep reaching for the 21 instead. The 25 is really testing my fortitude haha. I get to wear jeans to non-desk job work, so I can get some good wears in. The 21 indigo and 21 ib are by far my two favorites. I like the 16oz slub, too, although the back rise is a little lower than the other 888s. At least my pair is.
