As this is my first rodeo with a leather jacket, I'm curious... how concerned should I be about potentially getting caught in the rain in this?

@T4920 - i've been caught in rain in a leather jacket numerous times. soaking wet. regarding maintenance - nothing in particular, just avoid drying it on the direct heating like radiators. wipe it with a cloth and add a little bit of leather cream so it does not crack in the process of drying.

Visited a local gallery today. This was my favourite painting...

It bares an uncanny resemblance to Dennis from It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia, and is aptly titled 'The Messiah'.

I think the Golden God would approve.

After a week with the MRMF, I'm delighted to say that it's been met with nothing but compliments. Even my Dad who (and I mean this with respect) has absolutely zero interest in style or clothing, said it was 'a nice piece of kit'.

All this aside, I guess a little part of me was hoping to get ribbed on for wearing something so gaudy. Given that the original mission objective of this tour was 'We wear it. We work in it, we upset our wives, husbands, girlfriends, boyfriends and our significant others', I can't help but be a little disappointed by the lack of disapproval... I even sat on the front row at a comedy club over the weekend hoping I'd get some Mad Red related banter to quote here, but sadly not...

It's got me thinking though, what would be the most obnoxious, eye turning, yet cool as fuck leather jacket one could wear?

I spent a little time browsing the custom range by Aero Leathers, and have kind of fallen in love with their Grizzly Jackets... Dreaming of this with Natural Horsehide sleeves and a rust coloured Mouton body...
