@Jett129 man that’s an awesome story. I’ve enjoyed a bunch of High West offerings. I like peated Scotch and I like bourbon so the campfire was a natural for me. I just nip at it but it’s especially good around a…campfire. A drink someday would be awesome.

@Matt I beat on Missouri a lot but the fact is my people have been around here since forever. Our farm has been in my family since 1903… not that long compared to our European friends but a long time for here I think. I can’t believe Katie and the girls didn’t beg you to stop in MO during your adventure! Coulda seen Bass Pro Shops

I should probably slow the roll here a bit on the SKT Iron Heart Barn Burner Hoedown. I gotta get some stuff in order first and then slowly introduce the idea to my better half. I could see it happening in the future though. Would be a lot of fun.

I did my basic training at Ft. Leonard Wood, Missouri in January. Growing up in Southern California I didn’t know shit about cold weather. Who knew rain could freeze!! @SKT this plan is shaping up nicely!!

@Nocturama thanks man. Was a brilliant trip. Just at the airport for the return journey now. Some assorted pics. Lovely city, even better food. Highlight for my dad was certainly getting to hang out with an old Welsh rugby player on our first night in town!

@AdamJ - Scott Quinnell hosts a lot of the hospitality events at the Principality Stadium when Wales are playing, and always has a good story to tell…especially beer in hand!

Made it back from the farm in one piece. Didn’t burn the place down or drink too much but still had a fine time. Caught some small bass, crappie and bluegill in our pond. Too small to post in the “catch of the day thread” but it’s always fun to fish. I enjoyed the peace and quiet, now back to the real world…ugh. @Mizmazzle @Matt @scooter @Jett129 @endo Someday we’ll do the IH Barn Burner!
