To Cuff or Not to Cuff?

I was thinking about something to do with IH the other day and wasn’t sure where to place it on the forum. This seems like just the thread and convo to do it in…
There is just something about IH gear that seems to allow each person’s individual style to shine through. You could put the same UHF and 21oz jeans on two people and they would look different. Somehow the gear enhances a persons background, tastes, and passions in a way that makes them look unique. It’s really quite incredible and overall sort of hard to define. But I’ve seen enough WAYWT posts and worn enough IH gear of my own and I never feel like any two of us look the same. Somehow our individuality is enhanced…and THAT is truly exceptional.
So, wear that shit any way you like, cause it’s going to be badass!

@Anesthetist God bless you man!!! I couldn't imagine raising a girl in this social media, cancel culture disaster we live in. I pray it ends soon. I have a 3 year old daughter who I'm half afraid to even send to school with all the mentally ill kids nowadays. She's gonna have great taste in clothes though.

It’s not easy having a teen, but we keep a tight rein on socials. I also spent hours showing her how insta is just one big, fake ad to keep your self esteem low and your wallet empty.Mine loves my IH sweats and borrows them frequently. She tells me when I am dead she wants all my watches and UHFs

@Anesthetist Your a smart man explaining that algorithm to her and that she is the product. She's gonna be a million miles ahead understanding what it's actually meant to do. Sounds like she couldn't do any better for a dad!!! I hope when I'm gone she will get all kinds of use out of my heritage pieces. She will have some sweet flannels and jackets to choose from.

I won't hijack the thread with talk of raising kids anymore. Just wanted to say what a pleasure it has been interacting with you all on my first day here. Look forward to continually being active and having many more fruitful discussions with all of you. What a wonderful place to interact with people in such a niche community. Thank you Haraki, Giles, Alex and all the members of the Iron Heart team that started this forum and continue to maintain it.

and if you weigh more than 120 you look bad cuffing stovepipes. Cuffing is for 55's and their ilk.Funny you mention this because I’m always self conscious that cuffs would look better if I was a twig/wore skinnier jeans lol. But I never look at anyone in wdywt and think “damn those cuffs look awful” so it’s probably just a self-hate thing.
I moved to a small town and don’t have anyone local that can hem for me so end up cuffing way more than I would like. 31” inseam and a single cuff is my sweet spot but I’m always hesitant to get them hemmed through IH in case the jeans don’t work.
and sorry fellas, another vote for no sandals ever, I just can’t do it but I respect those of you who can
