IHJ-140-IG - 19oz Selvedge Denim Type I Jacket - Indigo/Grey

Inspired by the classic Levi's design from the early 1900s, our take on the "Type I" jacket is cut slightly longer in the body, with a less boxy silhouette than the original. This version is constructed from our 19oz selvedge denim, woven with indigo rope-dyed warp yarns and a grey weft for a darker appearance. When combined with tonal stitching and authentic features which include knife pleats and a rear buckle cinch, the result is a very robust jacket which blends both vintage and modern styling.

It's been a while since we've made a Type I so when we had a new denim available.

Indigo warp and grey weft. Can already see signs of life around the collar before I've worn it, so hopefully will fade nicely.

It's a little lighter than the SBG sample I've been working on so I should be able to get to wearing it immediately (good old English summer) will post pics etc as I go!

@Oaktavia - sorry I wasn’t clear enough in my message. I meant that on the photo the type 1 looked very indigo-indigo as opposed to indigo-grey.
