How much shrinkage did folks get after cold or hot washes? Also, I thought Giles had said at some point to be careful washing these in hot water out the gate because they can marble…???

definitely soak them before you wash them in the machine. make sure they are completely wet and turning inside out is not a bad idea either.

Mine are getting pretty beat up. Got a hole in the seat from my phone rubbing and both front pockets have holes up top on the inside closest to the fly..so weird since I don't even use my front pockets. I'll be going on my 5th wash

@Mickey-GT I have never been into black jeans but don't mind black denim for jackets...your picture has me contemplating the 666-SBG's.

Excellent picture and it might just push me over the edge.

I believe he was asking if the denim used for this restock is "sanforized and washed" versus "sanforized and unwashed "like the first release (which I had and just returned for the reLoved )
I think the last batch of these had went to the washed variety. Selfedge is stating the 8301s will shrink as in they are unwashed.

You won‘t be disappointed @goosehd. Meantime I‘m wearing more often black denim than blue ones… By the way: I get the inspiration for my first black denim from this forum as well…
