Just ordered
could not resist.
first thought of the CPO, but it’s time for a western shirt again as I have both 18oz CPOsI had similar thoughts, while the CPO looks lovely, sometimes it's better to opt for the western style. This denim is so robust, the western has plenty of fabric as it is. CPO will most certainly be more like a jacket than a shirt.
I’m kind of hoping for the CPO to go that direction. I can’t wait to get my hands on one to alternate with my IHSH-293-OD.
It will. This denim is bananas.
-
@Oaktavia it is the stiffest shirt I can recall buying from IH, equalled only by the ISC MF CPO for me.
-
This shirts a beast I’d love to have one,but I’ve got to draw the line
-
I almost got it to stand by itself .. I think a soak is in order soon....
-
@Tobi funny you mention that, I spent like 15 min trying to get it stand up for a pic. Was so close too

I tried too to no avail lol maybe after a soak but that won't be happening anytime soon.

@Oaktavia I’m so jealous
-
@T-J for what it's worth I think you nailed the sizing!
-
are you guys thinking about doing a workshirt version of this?
-
@scarfmace No plans at present. Just the CPO to follow for now. Great idea though
-
I picked one up in XL yesterday from Rivet & Hide in that London.
It is an excellent shirt. Thick, stiff, oozes quality. It promises to last decades of regular wear.

Looks killer, man! I'm itchin for the CPO and maybe oversizing a bit for layering. Recently got the 235-blk in a XL, but definitely a bit snug for a hoodie under. How do you go about sizing the shirts? They seem pretty narrow in the shoulder for me.

Nowadays usually wear a XXL or XXXL depending on how I want to wear it. For this one, I went with XXXL so I can layer over UHFs in the colder months. I totally could fit into a XXL if I wanted a more fitted look. With this 16oz I figured it would be better to go bigger on account of its heaviness and I'm glad I did. I can still wear it with just a tshirt as in the photo I posted.
These days, I like wearing my shirts and pants on the larger side (sized up). With shirts I used to size down to even XL but at the end of the day, I now go for comfort rather than form fitting denim. I like to have room to layer and move around.
