I would guess they have a warranty , that normally is 2 years in the EU for new bought things.

The problem is that we lost a week in Gibraltar, and now we are behind the 8-ball. We both have shit we need to deal with when we get home. If we get delayed, it wont kill us, but it would be less stressful to not hit any more delays.....

I guess we could, but that's a big "ocean" crossing....

It would be 400 or so miles, and we'd pass Brest on the way, OK, 50 miles to the East, but we'd still pass it...

I'm working on an extension to the 200 miles and get it done in Brest, or get it done before we do the bay.....

Depends who you are and what you do. The average annual hours on a "leisure" motor boat in UK is 50. We'll have done 200-250 by the time we get home. I'd like to think we would have done 400 by year end....

Plans for the next few days. We are currently in Portosin, Galicia, later today will cruise up and around Cap Finisterre to Muxia where we will meet up with Eddie and Beth Tejada, our friends and owners of Aitora, our Iron Heart retailer in North West Spain. On Wednesday we make our way to A Coruña, for our 200 engine hour service. It's a tad early, but by the time we cross The Bay of Biscay (which we plan to start late Thursday) and get to Brest, we'll have dove over 200 hours on the engines and we don't want to invalidate the warranty. The weather is looking good for the crossing, which we reckon will take about 36 hours. We will have lots of zero connectivity......

@Giles That'll be quite some journey home. I guess you both have some big sailing trips coming up if you reckon 400 by end of the year?
