I would guess they have a warranty , that normally is 2 years in the EU for new bought things.

Is there anywhere you and P want to spend a day of two between A Coruna and Brest
Yes, the boat.......:-)
-
I guess we could, but that's a big "ocean" crossing....
It would be 400 or so miles, and we'd pass Brest on the way, OK, 50 miles to the East, but we'd still pass it...
I'm working on an extension to the 200 miles and get it done in Brest, or get it done before we do the bay.....

I’m on my way.

wow almost like a car servicing chart except on a bigger scale. realistically, would 400 hours come first or 12 months?

Plans for the next few days. We are currently in Portosin, Galicia, later today will cruise up and around Cap Finisterre to Muxia where we will meet up with Eddie and Beth Tejada, our friends and owners of Aitora, our Iron Heart retailer in North West Spain. On Wednesday we make our way to A Coruña, for our 200 engine hour service. It's a tad early, but by the time we cross The Bay of Biscay (which we plan to start late Thursday) and get to Brest, we'll have dove over 200 hours on the engines and we don't want to invalidate the warranty. The weather is looking good for the crossing, which we reckon will take about 36 hours. We will have lots of zero connectivity......

@Giles That'll be quite some journey home. I guess you both have some big sailing trips coming up if you reckon 400 by end of the year?
