I've wanted a replacement pair of black jeans since outgrowing my 8301s, and these photos remind me why. These are coming along great!

@choco the 21oz is pretty special - that said I’ve never tried the 14oz which being from IH I bet would be amazing too. Never hurts to have both to change things up a bit, hope you get a chance to try this denim tho!

I've got 666s in the SBG and 14oz and vastly prefer the former, but the 14oz are indeed cool. I feel like I'm just so used to heavy denim now that anything south of 16oz feels like I'm Donald Duckin'.

@jerkules yeah, this is my second pair of 14z. I have a pair of 301s in 14 that I've worn quite a bit. I do have the 8301s SBG 21oz, but unfortunately they only fit me when I'm extremely fit now. hahaha

@Alex considering the 555 and 666 restock just hit today, any hopes of an earlier release on the 888?

@choco, if i am not mistaken there was no restock of SBG today but the long awaited (for me) release of the 21oz selvedge superblack non fade denim.

@choco @Twistlock is correct, the release today was 21oz superblack non-fade, which I appreciate has a very similar product reference.

IH-888S-SBG ETA is currently September

@Oaktavia your Mad Blacks? I’ve been following your updates in the thread, I reckon you’re a little ahead of me - your pair looks sick.

I’ve said before that I’m not super fond of black/black jeans when brand new. It’s taken me a year to get to this stage since I generally swerve for an indigo pair. But I LOVE faded black jeans, so now I’m really starting to wear these a lot and they get the attention they deserve.

@jerkules yeah MB are on their way. I agree the darkness of new black jeans and shirts show everything too. But when faded, they're awesome af.
