@Bigdog thanks! He is a broken coated Jack Russel Terrier and a great member of my family. And he is my personal fitness coach - I am averaging more than 10 km of walking per day for the last year and a half since we got him.

Us 4 (adults) are doing the 3 peaks challenge in September - the highest peaks of Scotland, England and wales within a 24 hour period, we had a small practice hike up Pen y Fan today with perfect weather. The 15kg weighted backpack made it harder than it could have been

@SKT it really is, I got this new one last week as the previous one was on my front and was agony on my back. This one is “comfortable” and she had a wail of a time, was even snoring at one point while I did all the work the first of many hikes with her
