@neph93 In Germany we call it Tanzverbot (dancing ban). One of the many privileges the Catholic and Lutheran churches still enjoy here, although it varies between states

@Tago-Mago that same dancing ban was still in effect when I moved here, as was any form of card-playing. It’s gone now as things relax a bit. But the whole separation of church and state takes time, it would seem.

Having walked around town in the sunshine all day (without being able to buy a coffee), I’ll downgrade this rant to a moan. Some cafe’s and restaurants are opening at 3pm. Although only the small ones run by immigrants. Multiculturalism for the win.

@endo it has its good sides for sure. It’s beautifully quiet around town as anyone with access to a cabin (most ethnic Norwegians) is there. It also usually coincides with the first period of warmer weather (3-10C), and the days are already decently long. The cultural/historical hangover is a massive PITA though.

Any kind of hair is a physical impossibilty and still not the greatest challenge associated with the task at hand.

He had 3 kids and was married for about 6-7 years. Things got really messy and it took him about 5-6 years to finalize his divorce. It will take him a lifetime to pay everyone and everything off.

@Mizmazzle brother!! It’s a leap of faith. Of course she rules… you wouldn’t be this far along. But it takes work, and you’ll question everything. My wife is the BIGGEST pain in the ass and our marriage is always evolving. But I’m no walk in the park either. And she says she likes me… most of the time.
But yea, man. It’s a leap. Only you can know.
PS. I was single until I knocked up my wife and we eloped. I was 44 at the time. All in all, best damn happy accident that ever happened to me.

@Autorotate thanks for the encouraging words my man. She is an amazing girl. She’s just hyper fixated on all the wedding details and issues with the planners and flowers and money etc. It’s got her bugging out and irrational as hell, which happens to be my own personal issue of limited patience with over reacting. I’m proud to say I’ve stayed calm through 98% of her 7 day tirade. I’m positive there is a pre-wedding clinical condition that takes place in people (brides) that could be cured with high doses of Thorazine.
