Baked sourdough burger buns last night. Topped with toasted sesame seeds after an egg wash. Making waygu beef burgers on Saturday. Final dish photos to come.

Oh, I thought I was a baker until I found this thread! Your breads look amazing! I’m usually tight on time. I found the Jim Lahey My Bread book a good way to get fresh homemade bread with little time. Definitely doesn’t have the depth of flavor as sourdough but still pretty good. He even has a chocolate coconut loaf recipe in there.

@goosehd wow man. That is a thing of dreams. I have recently self diagnosed myself with a gluten intolerance… super tragic I know, but I am living vicariously thru this bread thread!

I’m sure they do to @ARNC however my remark was disingenuous. The place I was at was much more about milieu therapy and they were super stingy with the benzo’s. This was known to me beforehand, and no amount of artisanal bread was going to help.

It does indeed. I'm doing a two loaf Poolish today.......(well the actual Poolish fermented overnight)
