100% agree with @JunkPants on the beauty of the Lofoten (not so much for food, and the weather can be fickle
).
I neatly skipped over the food part
(although there's certainly some decent seafood to be had during the summer months).
True about the weather as well, we were very lucky when we were there.

Easy access to the Alps by plane:
Innsbruck, Salzburg in Austria
Geneva and Zürich in Swiss
And for Italy I tried Bozen once…I would go with Endo and mention the Dolomites/Italy first.
Beatiful mountain scenarios, easy walks, a lot of cableways in the summer and the food is glorious. Villnöss is a pearl. One of the most impressive views in the alps you can get in Swiss. All the names you know fullfill, even when hypertouristic. I recommend Grindelwald.

backpacking trip to Indonesia
cool, my favourite country. where to there?

Bali, Java, Sumatra, Singapore is the plan.
First nights in Bali and last two nights in Singapore are booked, apart from that there’s still a lot of room (almost 4 weeks to be precise) for spontaneity
