IH-526L - 19oz Left-Hand Twill Selvedge Denim Type III - Indigo

I'm sure it's been mentioned here previously, but for those who are on the fence about this piece, be forewarned, it is INCREDIBLY stiff and rigid upon delivery. It was incredibly uncomfortable to wear with just a t-shirt, as the material was rough on the inside of my forearms/inside of my elbows. I tossed on a flannel or a hoody and was much more comfortable. As time wore on and a couple of washes later, the jacket became more soft and easier to wear. I still layer for comfort, as it's a bit rigid, even after a ton of wear. For reference, I own multiple IH jackets, and this was the most difficult to "conquer" per se. It may be in your best interest to keep a layer in mind when ordering/sizing.

@VegaS10 terribly uncomfortable is my happy place, we are all masochists here!
I was quite disappointed that my OD version didn't make me bleed.. I'll have to give this one a go in a decade or so when I've finally given mine the wear it deserves :the_horns:

I own both 19oz OD lefty and the indigo .
OD is pretty soft straight out of the bag compared to the indigo. Only after soaking it the indigo version and wearing it once dry you feel how tough it is, Been wearing mine every day so far this year and I can honestly say while wearing it you donโt notice how beastie it is feels comfortable and moulded to my body within a couple of months.
Best thing about this type lll is the fade potential just looking back through this thread is enough to make anyone want one canโt wait to put a few more months into mine hopefully can go all year with no days missed..

I picked up the 19oz SEXIH OD from another member here. Itโs a sick jacket. Itโs not a left hand twill, but pretty rigid denim still.
For some reason unknown to me, I am still drawn to this indigo or the lefty ODโฆ.which in and of its self is a real decision to be made. Think Iโve made the decision to snag one of these when they drop. But for the life of me canโt decide which one haha.

Iโm debating between this jacket or the 14oz Overdyed. Two different beasts I know but can any one offer any opinions or insight. This one seems unforgiving but thereโs so much love for it on this thread. Does it ever soften up much?
