@Steve My only reservation is that I've always found chucks extremely uncomfortable and restrictive.. I don't even think my feet are that wide...

I'll try them in person one day if I ever make it down to Gosport.

@T4920 I find converse quite narrow as well, and likewise I dont think I have wide feet, but think the IH sneakers are a slightly wider fit (well I have found)

@Mizmazzle that is definitely the sensible answer, there's no point owning this 'built to last a lifetime' clothing if you're always gonna be craving something else and not give the stuff you already own the wear it deserves.

I genuinely hope to get to a point this year where I consider my wardrobe 'complete' and go a few years without any new purchases.

@T4920 this is definitely the mindset to have. It’s how I started when I got into this type of clothing. One thing I never accounted for was how much cool shit is out there and different fabrics I continue to learn about. The “collector” switch in my brain gets flipped on. I do feel I’m at a point now where I have a great balance in my closet. Someone please tell Haraki not to make anymore “must haves” for a few years.
