@Filthy This happens to me also from the TSA. They always ask were can I buy a pair of jeans like this. I say go on the web and look up Iron Heart Jeans.
I've had this problem too, in my 555XHSib. My wife and I now have a TSA PrePass, no more xrays and taking off our shoes, Yay!
I ordered these @twin Let the break in process begin. Actually I plan on wearing these in the 2nd annual Indigo Invitational, so I'll have to wait until October
But, I can't wait to watch yours!Solid choice for Indigo Invitational II for sure.

I can’t blame you guys for buying another pair in this fabric. If a 666 version comes around I’ll probably pick up a pair to replace my 555s.

Received mine today, and my usual size fits me well. Will be even better after a soak. Thanks to @neph93 and @AdamC for advice on sizing!
Do the button holes become even more impossible post soak? Should I put something in there to stretch them a little or something haha? They're not being easy on me..

My pleasure. Glad it worked out.
The buttons don’t get easier, the forst time after post soak however a pair of pliers is all you need. I have access to these which are perfect, but a standard pair works. After that you’re fine. Another good move is to do the bottom up before the soak.
While I’m on it, this is the ultimate tool for those tricky first buttonings. My first pair took about 30mins and cost me some skin and serious tendon fatigue every time I had to button/unbutton the fuckers. With this little fella it took me 60 seconds and was practically painless. To be honest it felt like I was cheating. IHUK should offer them as an up-sell with every pair of XHS… [emoji1]

Special delivery today! It took a lot of wiggling and jiggling to get these on and situated where they needed to be and I came very close to giving up. @neph93 - no pliers needed to get the top buttoned, but I did break a sweat! This denim is crazy! The blue-black combo result in a slight purple cast. @Smiladon - i think mine are going to sit until October as well. I don’t realistically think I have a shot at winning anything, but I like the concept and the community aspect. Best of luck to you! I think it will be cool having someone to compare fades (and break in pain) with over the upcoming months.

Wow! If I didn’t know better i’d say that looks like a 555 fit. Looks great but how are you feeling about potential shrinkage after soaking/washing? They will go out to where they are now, which looks brilliant, but it may be uncomfortable for a week or two.
The rise is definitely lower on these than my 555s, but it’s slightly more generous than other 777’s (based on posted sizing). I think the rise on these actually work a little better for me than my 555s. I can take a week or 2 of post soak/wash pain knowing what’s on the other end. If I needed to breakout the pliers, I may be a bit more concerned

Ahhh, my bad - I was thinking the pliers were to address a combo of super tight/stiff buttonholes AND a super tight fit (i.e. the need to help facilitate pulling the button through the hole).

Got mine today too. Could only get the top button, but just barely. Hoping they stretch a bit, but I know they will.
Not the greatest pic, but I just had to try them on and then pop em in the back of the closet

Thanks everyone! I'm so excited to start wearing these bad boys. I took a note from @alexswords and went down a size. It's going to be torture for the first couple weeks, but I think it will be worth it, in the butt area
