Congrats @sabergirl ! Not breathable at the slightest? They do look awesome tho hopefully it cools down soon enough so you can wear them without feeling like your legs are on fire

For what it’s worth, these do really

Well, they’ve arrived.
I told my other half that the only way I would keep them is if they were really special and fit exactly as I wanted.
To be completely honest, I imagined I’d be sending them back and because I’m a man I had already mentally spent the money I shouldn’t have spent on the trousers I shouldn’t have bought. They’re amazing. They are ridiculously well made (no surprise there), go with every boot I’ll wear them with and are waaaay comfier than I expected. I can even get away with a turn-up, which usually look weird on me for whatever reason.
Bravo.
Thanks for the extra stickers.

This post is worthless without pictures.

It was a good decision to size up. I would have never gotten into a size 34.
The fit is a little relaxed, like it should be with a cargo pants. It feels very robust and a little to warm for the current 20 degrees Celsius.
Just need to get them hemmed now.
Excuse the face. [emoji2957]

Agreed @Cole those look great. I really like how the pockets sit flat and show a slim thigh from both the front and back.
-
Everyone looks brilliant in these but the comments have me a little nervous. A waist over 36" would surely be too big for me, while a thigh of 13.2" should be fine, hence I ordered the w34. That should be a TTS choice for me and the w36 would represent a solid size up. We'll see….
-
@neph93 - I would say these are such a true 888 cut that you wearing a 34 will be fine.
PLUS, you said just this morning how you are a true masochist

That’s what the measurements looked like to me too. Good to hear. As for the masochism… I’m a newborn stretchy jean softy now [emoji51][emoji1]
@sabergirl I’m so pleased you got these. Perfect on you. And the colour of them on your pics makes me happy.

Don't worry, it's not the pants, I just grew fat. 34 will most likely fit you fine.

@neph93 I second what @Cole says. I got a 34W and also have big thighs and they've worked out great

@Cole lockdown running into summer is a bad combo. I put on 6kg by the middle of July. I found the key to losing it was letting my wife do the cooking. I barely ate for a month [emoji16]
You look great in those trousers regardless. Thanks to you and @den1mhead for the moral support.

@neph93 I originally got the 34 since all the measurements seemed to work and, while very snug in the waist, everything else was perfect so I could wear them. However, given the knowledge that these will NOT stretch and I wanted to be able to tuck in a shirt occasionally, I decided to go up to a 36 and asked for the smallest waist size. Will be a bit loose especially in the waist but that's what belts are for…
A 35 would have been spot on.

Good intel, and a good plan on your part. Thanks.
I do a W33 in 21oz 888 and they stretch to perfection. My XHS are W34 and the waist in them is now comfortable and I can tuck, after the shrink/stretch cycle is done. So these should be ok. They shipped today so we’ll see next week. Fingers crossed.
Btw… totally with you on the belt.

Just realised that I didn’t receive the patches with my trousers.
I don’t think I actually care, but I’ve typed it now.
-
I’m yet to take them off, btw. By far my favourite leg coverage.
-
@Streetwise Hercules glad you love the pants! Sorry that the patches were missed, we can either send them out to you separately, or keep them here to ship with a future order. Let me know which works best
-
Pah!
I’ll never buy anything from you ever again!!!Keep them until next time @AdamC
