Yes Mr. Stauffer! Confirms my suspicion that we are all hustling with our own little tricks. Is that all working for you?

I’ve done the waist stretch and the hem stretch both have made some size 32 heavyweight cargos work for me.

And yes, weights on the arms give me some longer arms - I’ve done this trick with some older UHFs as well as at the hem of the shirt for longer body length

Right on both counts, sir. Seemed like a good idea at the time [emoji1]

My Johnny Cash shirt fits almost perfectly, but when I bought it I did not sufficiently take shrinkage into account… And esp the sleeves can NOT get any shorter. So when it needed its first wash a few days ago, I did this...

Worked like a charm - I even gained a centimeter and a half on the sleeves.

Only the clothes hanger gave up the ghost. Definitely a heavy shirt, that Johnny Cash.

I wanted to share this. My sister moved to Washington state and left a bunch of odds and ends here. So there are a bunch of these enamel coated hanging flower basket hooks that make great jeans hangers. They feel like they could hold a significant amount of weight. Way better than a hanger in my opinion and they are probably inexpensive.

I hand all my jeans in S-hooks… not quite as long as those but the same idea. You can pick them up pretty cheaply from a whole load of stores. And I agree, way better than cost hangers and more economical space-wise.

                                      Iron Heart forum tip/hack:

I am set to default log in for 60 minutes. maybe that's most of us? (it can probably be changed)

Anyhow have you ever had a long post or reply typed up and when you went to click post it said you were a guest because your default log in time ended? It's happened to me too many times and it's frustrating.

                                      What i do is:

                                      1. go back to the last page
                                      2. copy the text you have typed up
                                      3. go to the top of the page and log back in.
                                      4. Get to where you were posting and paste the text before posting the message

Not sure if this will help anyone, but if you are like me where your thoughts can quickly jumble and it's hard to remember your thoughts you had typed, it could save you some frustration of having to retype the entire message.
