It is a cracking vest. It’s the exact opposite of what a lot of folks want from their clothes. Despite a lot of use and abuse, it looks exactly the same as the day I bought it. It’s very versatile as well as it provides a lot of warmth, in a very lightweight package. The snaps are genius, especially the ones under the collar. The only minus is the lack of internal pockets, or fasteners on the handwarmers. I’ve considered modding the latter with some glue on velcro.

Needed the layers today myself. Arctic low pressure front, which means more blizzards, high winds, hail, snow and horizontal rain. Combine that with large public buildings and The Viking Kitty is the only answer…
