Fit pics as promised.  I had to follow moose tracks into the woods to get them.  10F and 35mph wind here today, with hands in the corduroy pockets, I was as warm as a bug in a rug.

I added the first pic because there seemed to be a lot of scuttle about arm length.  I’m 5’10”, 170lbs.  The jacket is a XL.  The arm length is proportional to the jacket.  I could of easily gotten away with a Large, but I sized up because I need room to layer, it gets a little cold up here near the arctic circle [emoji3587]

Comparing my pics to yours, based off your shoulder seam, arm length, and waist length, it looks like you should have ordered a 2XL instead of 4XL.  My XL is sized up on purpose, I could easily wear a L.  Out of curiosity, generally what size UHF do you wear?

These look great.  As bummed as I am about not copping one the first go around, the reality is that it would probably just sit in my closet until about December when it's finally cold enough in Phoenix to wear it so it's good to see the guys who really need them in the colder climates getting the proper use out of them.

The lining looks so killer on these too.  I'm stoked that there is a rerun being sorted out but I'm curious what the liner will be on the next run.  This liner is just perfect IMO.

@@The_Bourbon_Denim_Guy… Maybe I could have dropped 1 size to a xxxl but I wasn’t looking for a skin tight fit and I usually need 25 to 26” in the pit to pit measurement for a jacket... the xxxxl was the closest.
I don’t have any UHF as they all seem to be way too narrow for me.

Sorry… realizing now on the computer that the black door was a poor backdrop.

6'2" - got the XXXL for chest and shoulder measurements assuming layers underneath - perfect fit in this area. The body is a little long. The sleeves are super long. If wearing a long sleeve layer like the IHSH-68, the sleeves of the shirt hold back the sleeves of the SR from falling over my hands. If wearing only t-shirt, the sleeves hang down past my palms. I can't imagine wearing it with only a t-shirt underneath - but I cannot decide if I'd later regret this.

Can I expect some creases to shorten the sleeves with that quilted layer there? Would I be foolish to rely on the shirt underneath to keep the sleeves at bay? I wouldn't be able to fit in a XXL if they were available...

Insanely gorgeous jacket. Fit looks perfect on @The_Bourbon_Denim_Guy. Don't know to what extent washing and machine drying would help with the various length overages. Obviously once you do that you can't return it. Even with the difference in the shoulder seam, the sleeves still would've been too long for me. Have to live vicariously through you guys.

To answer my own question: after trying on over a few different shirts, the answer is no, I definitely shouldn't be desperate enough to rely on the shirt underneath to hold back the sleeves.  😞

@dert There are options but the amount of length you can take away has limits. In your case, some of your options are hot wash and air dry, hot wash and machine dry (perish the thought), or the most immediate and minimal solution being to spray the entire sleeve with water until undeniably wet (normally this could be done after a quick soak or wash, but since this is a quilted jacket maybe start easy) and then button the sleeve and push them up as far as possible up your arm and then bend your elbows and all that stuff…the idea being set a full range of movement within the memory of the fabric while wet. After that, you might assume the creases have done most all of what they can for the length shortening, but then it's your jacket. Normally there are creases at the pits, at the elbows, at the wrist and slightly up the forearm. My proposal is just to get all those creases set right now (they are inevitable with wear) and see how the sleeves feel...

In your case, from the pics, there will be creases all the way up, but those can be awesome and unique to your frame. Denim drapes differently on everyone and it's a signature pattern

Thanks Adam, I agree with all you just said, and I'm mulling it over. I think I may throw in the towel, I'm getting some long diagonal folds on the upper arms (visible on my left bicep region) that I just don't want to live with.

@The_Bourbon_Denim_Guy looks great in this jacket

@dert I'm not gonna lie. I bought a pair of 32 uhr just to save for later. When I tried them on after a hot soak I got those same diagonal folds in the thighs. I can wear 28-31, but 32" was a bridge too far.

I sorely wish I’d purchased a large. Feels too big/too long all around compared to my 526pj. And several sizes larger than my black 101j. Can’t figure it out. If there’s somebody who bought a large and wants to upsize to an xl I’m all ears for a trade. It’s such a beautiful jacket. Sleeve diameter is spot on. Otherwise it’s going back. I’m 5’11”  210lbs
