I think I agree.  The western with GoodArt snaps on each pocket is the way I think I have to go.

Looks like houndstooth where the stripes cross. That’s about as much houndstooth as I like. This shirt is great.

Obviously on the same wavelength it occurred to me the GA silver would look pretty cool with this. More complimentary than contrasting.
