I was lying in bed kind of drunk admiring how nice these are and went to buy another pair. I noticed they are sold out in my size but in continuous production now. What a relief.

Still lusting. I fear these are too damn thick though for a proper (any) drape with this cut worn via boot vs. the slimmer cuts as they appear better suited. Ridiculous fabric.

I have the 666 in the standard XHS but in a W36. The width of the lower leg to hem is substantial. They drape beautifully.

Right on neph93. My Lofgrens and their instep (opposed to a silhouette like my Attractions, etc.) render this quest for a sleeker cowboy boot/low weight (i.e., nice light drape) Lee’s look difficult. Reckon I should just finally say f*** it and buy some Wranglers and cowboy boots.  😉

But another XHSib sychophant post. Yes the fabric is greatness. Yes I will resemble Gumby for the foreseeable future but I regret nothing. Yes the 634 maintains dominance in a slim profile crushing skinny jean hipster communists. One could observe this annihilation from the comfort of one's pool float without wearing them with their world beating weight. Thanks again IH. Off to jar some kombucha.

A rather recent development I’ve been privy too at work (healthcare-primarily women). Never considered myself a “hipster” and I’ve learned if you fall somewhere between Lumbergh and Patrick Bateman, you’re a “hipster.” Utterly binary. Haha. So in proper hipster fashion, just received my first Roys (perhaps a natural trajectory of moving from pedestrian to extremely heavy back to light) and IH says funk this hipster and his ways and throws up a sale. Haha. “Just when I thought I was out,….”  😉 In all seriousness, can’t wait to soak these and jump in. They make my SEXIH13s 23oz look/feel like 21oz.

Fwiw to those for measurements: 2 consecutive hot soaks for 1-2 hours ea. with subsequent light agitation. Really consistent shrinkage throughout fit. Congruent with others, .5" shrinkage on average throughout. For the first time experienced appreciable "white marks" (soaked inside out) and they essentially blended in with some rubbing with dry towel. No biggie.

First pair of raw selvedge I’ve hemmed. Always marveled at how well my 666 19Ls and the like fit and they happen to be a 34” inseam. This appears to really help with “knee break” and just a much better overall drape; took me awhile to get the courage to commit to a hem as I prefer a longer inseam/stacking and have a long inseam for 6’ height, however, with heavier weight the drape I’ve learned is exponentially better even going from 35.5” to 34” inseam. Wish I got all my jeans hemmed to 34”ish. And IMHO, the 634 fit is best represented via a slim fitting profile such as the 634 SEXIH13. Measurements on mine are almost identical for these to get an idea how they ‘ll fit.

Not sure there has ever been «just a doc», but there certainly isn’t these days.

Physical labour or not, getting to wear jeans to work and using them all day is a great thing. Good luck with this pair, it is really wonderful denim.

I love the deep blue color of these when they are wet. The nice thing about working abroad is that we get a full-paid 14 day quarantine at home when we get back.
