Lots of rain the past few days which actually is very good as we had a very dry winter but not much wear with the Mad Red. Today it’s pretty cold too… went into the sauna.

Day 01:

Me and the Mad Red made dinner for the twins, after a little skate session around the neighborhood.

The wife made her weekly grocery run while I prepped dinner for us:



I prefer using fresh meat, but during these lock downs, we wanted to make sure we were well
Stocked - and I’ve been extremely pleased with the meats we get!

Sorry for the lack of posts, funny how busy you can be “staying at home!”

Just a quick run down of where I live:

We are in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida - in the northwestern panhandle of the state. While we have some extreme poverty (and back country communities lol) we also have a magnificent stretch of powder white sand beaches along the Emerald Coast. We are lucky to like about 3 minutes from the nearest beach access point, and about 400m to the bay, so quarantine has been a lot of bike rides, paddle boards, and time at the pool.

Weekend Update:
The weather finally warmed up to the high 80sF here, so I took advantage of some early mornings, being outside, and enjoying the weather.

On Saturday, I got up around 5:30, grabbed Mad Red and my long board and went and rode Long the beach for about 45 minutes:

They finished renovating one of the beach access points and added a second story tower:

Came home and let my daughter watch skate videos while I cooked breakfast

Continued:
Ran some errands, and made sure Mad Red was locked into the Recaros

My in-laws and SIL popped over for a few hours so I made some smoked chicken for lunch:

Trying some low carb options…

We went to the beach, but I forgot my damn phone…

After we got back and cleaned up, we made a grocery run.. on the way, Crab Island (a big sand bar where boats hang out) was in full swing...

This morning, we took the kiddos for a bike ride. First stop ALYS Beach

New accessories

Rosemary Beach farmers market

Some extra snaps along the ride:

Came home and finished a little walking path as well as did some “gardening” - aka water plants whilst having a cigar

Had a few beers:

Had a snack

And then shipped up dinner:

Hung with Grayson a bit before the twins hit the hay, and I had a nightcap while doing some overdue work…

Been another busy week in quarantine, although things are definitely getting back to normal here in NW Florida.

The beaches opened back up for residents two weeks ago, and they are allowing short term rentals (80% of the real estate here is second homes or vacation rentals) as of Wednesday, so it’s been rather “busy” around these parts.

Wore real clothes the other day [emoji23]

Spending plenty of time playing dress up

Whipping up some tasty meals

Changing my office view as often as I can lol

Went biking with the kiddos

Made “Micheladas”

Plenty of tourists in town!
