IH-634S-142od - 14oz Selvedge Denim Straight Cut Jeans - Overdyed Black
Our classic straight cut jeans in 14oz indigo selvedge denim overdyed black. Our 14oz denim (second version) is made with a double twisted weft yarn (the same construction technique as our 21oz selvedge denim.) At 14oz, this is our “least heavy” Japanese jean denim.

Quite surprised no one has posted fit/evo pics in here.
Some months ago I turned someone I met at work onto IH with a pair of 777s-18oz. Being that it was this persons first pair of selvedge denim, it was unfortunately far too nice & expensive to beat up at work. The only solution? Get a 2nd pair of course! OD’s were his choice & initially I was gonna spring on a pair of 21oz OD’s since he wouldn’t know the difference, but they weren’t in stock so no dice. Fortunately 14oz worked out perfectly as he noticed they felt smoother and lighter right off the bat.
Some fast & dirty fit pics. For reference he’s approx. 6’3” 130ish#’s (read tall & lanky), starting waist measurement 31.5”, 33” inseam.
Big thanks to @Bailey once again for reassurance on sizing! Everything worked out to a T!
Now that he has a 2nd pair & promises to use one of them for work I’ll update either this or the 777s-18oz thread with updates.
