After reaching peak buffalo check a couple of years ago (I’d had enough at any rate), this is a welcome return. It’s great that the iconic pattern has had a freshening up in terms of colour and fabric too.

@Filthy thanks dude. It is pretty much the perfect fit. With careful washing and I think I can afford a tiny bit of shrink. This is the most perfect fit of any IH shirt for me, along with my 33. I'm with you, blackand greay would be amazing. Maybe a dark orange and black in this cloth too…

            Hi Thomas.

I love this fabric, colourway and pattern. Looks great with the jeans and sneakers.

That's a great, fresh-looking outfit; the fit of that shirt is absolutely spot-on, as a someone who often has problems with sleeve-length it's very enjoyable for me to see examples of sizing done right to the tee. 😎

This makes me happy I bought this shirt. 😍 Self Edge has 4 of every size if your size is sold out here.

Now that I have both this and the work shirt. I think I prefer the western. I am going to mothball the work shirt and save it for in a few years after this one is beat. A shirt so nice I am glad to own 2. I was also thankful I was able to shrink the cuffs on this a little. I soaked them in boiling water and the threw the shirt in the dryer on high heat damp cuffs only. The cuffs are super-wide on a 4xl.

                  Bad quality pics for sure.

Has anyone washed this and had any issues? This has happened to mine…1 x 20 degree wash  30 min cycle, 800 spin...it seem the weave is so loose that the material sort of opens up. My machine is perfectly fine too, no other issues. @Alex and @Giles any other reported issues? I don't want to snip the loose threads with scissors for fear of making it worse, but I also can't pull the threads through the back…

Not something that I have seen before.  You can pull the threads to the back side easily. take a needle and cotton, from the back of the fabric take the needle through the same hole as the rogue yarn, leaving a tag end on the reverse, put the need back through the same hole, leaving a loop of cotton, pull both ends of the cotton through until you have a little loop.  Put the rogue yarn into the loop and continue pulling.  Voila. it's done.

My description is pretty crap, so I made a pulled yarn and fixed it.  Here it is on vid…

Washed my work shirt version twice already. No issues.

@Giles I gave it a go…blimey I need to get my eyes tested! Took a few goes but here are the results
                          Surface

Reverse…I tied off the loose thread and cut the excess off

The other snag results aren't quite as good as the thread is a loop
                          Surface

Reverse…I couldn't tie off or cut this one

This material is such a loose weave, I think it will always be prone to snagging.i didn't think threads would loosen in a light wash though. I'm sure there are always anomalies, you just there will be less on a £250 shirt I thought a quick wash might have closed the weave, but no luck.

Went with a large initially, but just a bit to short. Got my exchange for a an XL in the mail today, very pleased!

Apologies for the random photo order, not my intention but changing it via the phone interface is proving tedious.
