    Looking for sizing recommendation…

    Brannock: 11.5 EE left; 11.5 EEE right

    Boots:
    Viberg Engineer 11 2005 last
    Truman 11.5 EE US
    Red Wing Roughneck 10.5 EE US
    Alden: I have tried on the Indy boot on Barrie last. 10.5 US was perfect in length, D width no bueno.

    Sneakers:
    New Balance 11.5 US
    Vans: 12 US; Vault: 11.5 US
    Converse CT: 11 US
    Adidas: 12 US
    Widths are always problematic, with all of them. NB and Vans are generally much more accommodating.

    I want to say, I'd be size 11. The width gets tricky, though. I'm thinking EE, at least, if not EEE.

    Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind.

      @Alex:

      @Vintage:

      Really digging these boots. Never owned a pair of Wesco boots before so I feel like I'm going in blind on a preorder. I'm a 10D-US on most of my Red Wing Hertitage boots,  9.5 US on Lofgren Combats and 10.5-US on most sneaker and hiking boots. Any coments or comparisons from Wesco owners would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

      I would go for a 10E.

      Thanks for the sizing tip. After doing some internet sizing reviews on Wesco, the 10-E seems to be the right fit for me. I missed out on the JL Black Cats from SS which I really liked, but think these Wesos will fit the bill as the look is similar.

        @petersmith:

        Size 11 in Vans Slip-Ons
        Size 10 in Buzz Rickson Sneakers
        Size 10 in John Lofgren Sneakers
        Never owned boots before
        What size am I for these?

        Edit: After doing some research, I think I’d be 9.5E. Is that right?

        9.5E is my best guess yes

          I would go 11EEE, if your feet are different widths then you may find one is looser than the other, but the only way to resolve that is to pay the money to have a custom last made to your feet (one fee for all future Wescos)

            After building myself up a few hours at a time the boots are now nicely broken in and super comfy  😎

              I'm 11D in Boss and Jobmaster.  I guess an 11E would be the same here?

              The the narrower Motor Patrol toe a slightly longer boot to compensate?

                In this leather I’d consider a wider fitting unless you have a lot of room in your Jobmasters. I don’t think you need to size up for length.

                  You mean wider than E, which is already wider than my D Boss and Jobmasters?

                    I'd go 11E if the 11D stock jobmaster fits well

                      No, sorry I meant you’re right to go for E.

                        Ordered.  I tried to resist, but it was futile.

                        @Alex, as a matter of interest, what length are the laces?  I find laces generally come in shorter than I like, so usually buy longer ones.

                          All wesco boots come with stock nylon (we cannot change the length) and a pair of the longest leather that we stock in the best matching colour, in this case black.

                            Thanks, @Alex, no biggie.  I'm never a fan of stock nylon laces anyway, so will get whatever increased length I got for my 7 hole Trickers and IRs.  The leather laces could be interesting, though, similar to my Lennon boots.  .

                              Wesco's leather laces are quite frankly incredible. They are very long, can easily be customised to the required length and strong af. They also hold a knot very well.

                                I can't do leather laces- they always twist around and the look of it drives me up a wall

                                  I ordered last week. Right there with you brother, I couldn't resist. Now the waiting game begins.

                                        Nothing beats the rawhides… I've literally put them in all my boots... Fun trivia: one Wesco rawhide leather = long enough for a pair of Red Wing chukkas...

                                          Recieved a email from Iron Heart the other day. Informed me that when I ordered my boots the details on the boots read 1339 last but that was incorrect and they will be using a MP95. From what I've read on other blogs the 1339 last runs narrow and the MP95 last runs wide. I'm wondering if I should switch to a 10 D instead of my original order which is a 10 E. All my Red Wings boots are a 10 D and my Lofgren Combat boots are a 9.5 D. Any one have thoughts and comments between the widths on the 1339 last and MP95 last. Thanks in advance.
