I know I’ve worn mine well over 60 days and while they are def softer than I thought, the phrase “super soft” does not ring true to me. That being said mike is probably tougher than I am

      Maybe so. Maybe not

So true Matty. I have a question about these jeans for anyone out there. What causes that shiny surface on parts of the fabric? I’ve had it happen to other jeans before, but never this quick. It appeared on certain areas the first time I put them on. I quite like the look actually, just curious what cause it.

I think this is because the yarns are ring spun and this causes a smooth arrangement of the microscopic fibers of the yarns. The smoother the arrangement the shinier the surface appears.

I am sure you guys are all sick of me raving about how much I love these jeans. But, one more thing I really appreciate about these jeans is that that huge intersection of seams on the back yoke seems to not dig into my ass like on my other pairs. I haven't had a chance to measure the placement versus my 888-nt. But it seems to be over a half an inch higher for the same size, with relatively the same measurements over both pairs.

It really is a miracle. My tailbone is forever grateful.

I sent a message to the attention of Haraki-san via the Iron Heart Japan contact form thanking him for how great the new jeans are. I hope he either was conveyed the message or reads this, because I really appreciate how great these jeans are! 👍

I’m not tired of it at all. Glad when a product I have has some real engagement. Usually it’s just crickets and then the outlet for the stuff I like.

Not tired either @Filthy  it's great. I am a bit jealous though as mine appear to be stuck in Coventry somewhere despite shipping from Gosport almost a week ago  😢

Hopefully maybe soon I can post some proper fit pics. Selfies are pretty beat but it is all I can manage. I need to get a camera with one of those remote doodads. But it seems way too vain to buy a camera just to take pictures of clothes.

Edit: damn Neph I would be going apeshit.

If you're in the market for a phone upgrade, consider the Galaxy Note 9- the pen functions as a remote. It's pretty damn cool. Camera quality is supposed to be very good, too.

@Chris that is a great idea! @tvenuto I am more of an android guy. I just like having a cheap phone because of my tendency to drop them from hundreds of feet or into water or both. They used to make us have intrinsically sound phones. But now they just tell us to not use them at work or when no one's looking.

Well, if you're going to be treating it like that, the Note 9 might be a bad idea.  ???  The price has come down some since it was introduced, but even the cheapest price is like $800+.  I'd hate for you to buy one and then toss it off a building…

Have you tried, hay Google, take a picture? I know it works for my pixel phone…sure it works for others, so you can take photos when you want. Or tike delay, works just as well

That is exactly what I did, but I am exactly that vain [emoji1] However I told my wife it was because my SLR was too old and clunky to easily take pics of our small kids, so I’m a devious twat too [emoji847]

I was verging on quiet panic but it showed up in Norwegian customs this morning. Parcelforce tracking must have missed the scan where it left the UK.

On another note the Norwegian postal service tracking app has just introduced the most pointless application of augmented reality I have ever seen… I can now fantasize about having my package in front of me at work, even though it is still about 48 hours and 1500km away. Someone should tell them they need a blue bag animation if they want to get me all virtually hot and bothered...

Got mine back from the tailor, yay!

I normally go 30-30.5" in the inseam for that perfect clean look, but I opted to go to 32" on these because I had a feeling that they'd stack well, and the inside looks great, so I can also cuff.  And I'm super-glad that I did, because these look great!

My tailor was not very happy about 25oz denim.  I promised her I'd only bring her 21oz and below from now on LOL

                                            I'll take a fit-pic tomorrow when the light's better.
