You will notice a major difference between the 777 rise and the 555 rise for sure.

Otherwise @alexswords is right about sizing variations. The type of denim also plays a role in the eventual fit as well because of variations in weave and thickness (thicc-ness?), the denim will stretch and drape differently. All part of the fun.

I was trying to communicate what Alex said so much better. I’m in total agreement as to my 555-03 being my best fitting IH jeans. I also have a pair of the,now extinct, 555-BK which also fit extremely well.

@alexswords  You can't get a better fitting pair of jeans. Epic fades also. I also am going to size down on the next pair of 555XHSib.

I have tried almost every cut IH makes and they are the only jeans I ever wear, but I think from a fashion standpoint none of them are really great for booty showcasing if that's what you are going for. Due to the location and size of the rear pockets which are brilliantly designed for carrying a chunky wallet while straddling a Harley, the placement ends up sitting lower than most other jeans and this creates an optical illusion which is not the most flattering even if you perfectly fill out the top block. Though the higher rise of the 555's does mitigate this to some extent.

Actually i can do warm soak to make it fit but ya i prefer proper size

They are supposed to be soaked as there is 0.5-1” to be had in the waist. How do they fit there?

EDIT: that being said, they do look a bit roomy for 555’s. I doubt you will get all the shrinkage you want/need.

Still got 2 fingers space in the waist, so i guess its still too big for me.
sell it back is the best decision i assume.

Yes, losing that much in a hot soak is a big ask for sure, and then they’ll stretch out. XHS typically stretches past initial measurements so I think you’re right. Sorry.

Woah @twin those fades are fucking fantastic. No wash? The dark areas are sooo rich. Mine are much lighter. Your honeycombs look like lightning.
