I mostly hike in the woods with the 555-XHSib jeans Yesterday out there for more then 6 hours.

Morel season is about to begin in my area so I will be spending many hours in the woods in the coming weeks.

@Oaktavia @Smiladon the new XHS iteration is the proprietry 25oz XHS but dyed in a similar way to this year’s 14oz black on black denim. The warp is rope dyed with sulphur and the weft is sulphur dipped. Black denim that will fade, in other words.

I wish I could say I lead a really active life, @twin, but I don't really! I think the cycling probably accounts for most of the fades. Also, we had a rainy winter over here, so I got my legs wet a few times. That may explain some too.

Loved your recent fade pics on this thread by the way. Not just the 555-XHSib, but also the lefty jacket, and the CPO. Awesome!

That is one of many reasons I love these guys. I can wear them with regular wash denim and it isn't too much denim. Not that ever stops me anyways.

@oaktavia I’m going to say 93 wears. So about 3 months. With 1 wash and 3 soaks.
And the first week was hell in the back of my knees, but I think it was worth it when you look at my honeycombs.
