I can't condone it's use though, particularly in this day and age. IH have moved away from natural down in their vests, I suspect that isn't solely a cost efficiency?

Another reason I love IH… If there is an ethical option you seem to go for that instead.

@Stuart.T If you've never worn a ruff at -40 you won't believe how much of a difference it makes. Wolf is one of the best but wolverine is the ultimate because it sheds frost so well. It's a natural and renewable resource. I buy mine from a young family who run their trap line with their kids. They harvest the animal, process the pelt, and sew the ruff.

I respect that people have their own values when it comes to fur and it's not for everyone. In my part of the world it's really common.

This WB1 is loosly based on the traditional flight jacket B-15, an example of which is available at a store I believe you've visited before . . . Eastman Leather Clothing.
