Soaked then machine washed at 40 degrees, 400 spin and hang dried.

This comes at a totally wrong time. Already the third Johnny Cash Iteration I miss out (unless somebody wants to get my XL Sh 08SS to help me fund it…)

When we performed the shrink test, we noticed that the denim faded a little bit in the wash.  It will not remain black, but we believe it will be a slow fader.  So if you want a completely no-fade black shirt then this may not be for you.

We are trying to find out from Japan what they think will happen over time, but we will still release at 16:00 GMT.

If it helps: the SuperBlack 21 oz changes as well after a wash. It's a bit shiny when new but becomes muted with a shift to grey after washing. Does anything similiar happen here, too?

We use fade-to-grey as a descriptor for our SBG fabric which is a different animal…
