They are both beautiful @JDelage but the second one is tremendous. Thanks for sharing.
Great thread @mclaincausey

Cheers fellas–great stuff posted already. @JDelage , we have a set of Damascened Kramers that we love. Not a ton of evo on them due to the nature of the steel, but you can see a little on the label, bolster, and fasteners.

This is a great idea for a thread.
It may be kinda weird, but I really appreciated seeing the degradation/evo of my skate/everyday shoes compared with a new pair of the same model that recently arrived. I don't know if a beaten-up pair of sneakers can really be considered beautiful, per se, but I just really enjoyed the juxtaposition of old and new.

That's a specious definition of evolution, which is just something changing over time and reflecting the passage of time and use. Fading, wear and tear, stains, crocking, tarnish, and yes even dirt can fall under that category.

You’re a brave man cooking bacon in the oven. Last time I tried that smoke came billowing out because of the grease. But dang, those were some awesome bacon wrapped jalapeños stuffed with cream cheese [emoji1641]

325-350 works just fine. I’m probably braver for eating this much bacon…

This old Case xx sheath c/o @derivative666 . I wish the suppleness of the aged leather were electronically transmissible. This lockback blade has gotten much carry of late, and the Case's case has something to do with that. It is attached to a beautiful belt from @seawolf ZeeBee Leather. Look at that grain and the immaculate saddle stitching!
The ravages of time have done a number on my Sambas but they're going strong.
